Hello,
Well, here's the deal... Me and my mother live in Romania (YES, we are Romanians), the apartment in which we live since 25 years (actually my family lives in it since 25 years, I'm only 20) was government property (It was a family housing program), 1 year ago the government decided that if we want to we can buy it, so we decided to buy it, but for that we needed a sum of 9.800 euro's (40.000 RON at that time) to pay and after that we need to pay approximately 200 euro's per month for 10 more year's and the house is ours, the problem is that we are a family of three, me my mother and my brother (my father died 2 years ago, he had a pulmonary condition called lung congestion which caused his heart failure in which he died), so we got the 9.800 euro's from a bank debt, the problem is that since we had no real estate property to take out a mortgage (the apartment will be ours only after 10 years when we payed the last payment for it for the government) we needed to settle with the worst banking loan ever the amount that we got was 9.800 euro's and we need to pay back 190 euro's per month for five years and after that 200 euro's per month for another five more years (YES, we will end up paying back 23400 euro's for the bank, as I said worst banking loan ever!), plus do not forget we have to pay 200 euro's to the government in every single month, crazy right? especially since the three of us together in this day's make about 500 euro's in every month... we don't quite have the *best* paying job's, me and my mother work in an electronics manufacturing factory and my brother works in a shoe factory (read sweatshop).
Even thru till now we had no problems at all paying the bills, our monthly up keep is really small since we try to not to use too much electricity (we never go over our electricity plan even if that means that we need to turn of the TV and computer at !11 PM!, still the fridge needs to run all day and night but that's OK if no other things consume electricity, we wash by hand and we don't use the vacuum only monthly once, in the rest we sweep the floor.), we try not to use too much water still we must take daily showers but still we try to have it under control, none of us goes out... the last time I was out on a night on the town was when one of my girl friends had her birthday and she invited me, this was 1 months ago in June and even than I didn't spent a dime, I drinked a martini that she payed and had a cab home with on of her girl friends that lives near me.) so anyway, we managed to pay the bills because me and my mom could stay in work for overtime and we managed to make 240-250 euro's per person that gave us a grand total of almost 670-680 euro's its really hard to balance 180 euro's for monthly up keep for a family of three but we managed quite good... still now that the economical crises kicked in the factory we work at does not have enough orders so we can't work overtime and here comes the problem our monthly banking bills are around 400 euro's and we make only some less than 500 euro's... no money for utility bills nor for upkeep, now we are felt behind with two months of utility bills.
As desperate I am (we all are actually we have no idea wear will we end up like this still we hope for the best) I kept searching for solutions and found a story on the net a person called Karyn Bosnak made a website called savekaryn.com she had a similar problem... in debts till the top of her head... she needed the sum of 20.000 US dollars and she actually got it from donations in 5 month, and it hit me, I have a friend who knows of my problem, and his real good with computers, internet etc., so I asked him if he could put up a site for me just like the savekaryn.com was, so know I'm here hoping that I will be able to find 33.184 persons how will give me just 1 US dollar each and with that I would have the sum of 100000 RON that would end all our problems, we could pay all the debts, we could pay the apartment, we would finally be free from debts, if you believe it or not this is my biggest dream, to have all our debts vanished, every single penny helps!. All thru I'm not hoping for much even if we would get enough to help us out with our utilities and upkeep or even our utilities... Still don't worry I didn't got my hopes too up for this site, my friend also told me that every good "make an easy penny" idea works only once on the web, he told me about the one million dollar homepage that had a lot of copies made after it all thru only the original actually made money, he also told me about a site called save toby that also had a million copies and none of them worked out neither, but still its worth a try... even if I will get only 10 dollars, every cent helps!.
As what will you get out of this, you ask...? Actually nothing... I'm sorry but I don't have anything to offer, only that I will try to keep you up-to-date on how all this is working out for me, the same way as Karyn did with her website.
I really hope that you can sacrifice the price of an ice-cream or the price of a movie ticket or netflix rental to help me out :D.
